Conditions
Although most major guidelines do not include or recommend an intra-articular injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), a biologic product prepared from autologous blood, this optional treatment has become a desirable choice of non-surgical treatment for knee OA. Studies regarding PRP applied in knee OA, with various protocols of preparation and injection, showed that it improved patient clinical outcomes by releasing several growth factors and cytokines, promoting reparation and minimization of Congenital heart disease with systemic right ventricle
