Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Males and females aged 18 to 26 years. Participants with fair Plaque index will be included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with systemic or local conditions that may affect the study results or in which the exposure to carbonated drink is contraindicated will not be enrolled in the study. 2. Systemic conditions included diseases (e.g., diabetes mellitus, Sjogren syndrome, chronic kidney disease, arterial hypertension, etc.) and/or intake of medications (e.g., of antihypertensive, anti-acne, anticholinergic, and antiseizure medications, antidepressants, antihistamines, etc.) that may affect salivary parameters. 3. Local conditions included oral mucosa pathology as it may affect the salivation rate; moreover, the presence of any pathological lesions on the oral mucosa makes exposure to acidic beverages and any new oral care product unacceptable. 4. Patients undergoing orthodontic appliance treatment will be excluded, as it may alter salivation and affect oral hygiene. 5. Patients who underwent dental bleaching will be excluded as it makes exposure to acidic and coloured beverages undesirable.
