Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1-Either sex. 2- Age group 20 – 60 years old. 3- ASA physical status I-II. 4- Scheduled for thyroidectomy surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Age 60 years old. 2- ASA physical status >II. 3- Mental illness. 4- Drug abuse. 5- Patient refusal. 6- Concurrent treatment by any medication that prolongs QT interval. 7- Known hypersensitivity to any of the studied drugs. 8- Difficult intubation or complicated surgery.
