Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) level exceeding 7.0% and/or a glycated albumin (GA) level exceeding 21.0% after 8 consecutive weeks of daily administration of conventional therapy (dietary therapy alone or other antidiabetic agents). Type 2 diabetes mellitus eGFR < 60 mL/min/1.73m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria are the presence of infectious disease, thyroid disease, malignant tumors and treatment with steroids.
