Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with intracranial aneurysm and treated with endovascular coiling. 2.Patients who are 7 days post-craniotomy (or post-cranial surgery). 3.Age = 35 years. 4.Meet the diagnostic criteria for neurocognitive disorder according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5), defined as a significant decline in one or more cognitive domains (e.g., memory, language, executive function, etc.) that interferes with daily living or social functioning. 5.MoCA score: =13 for illiterate individuals, =19 for those with 1–6 years of education, and =26 for those with 7 or more years of education. 6.The patient and their family members understand and actively cooperate with this study, and the patient can guarantee full cooperation throughout the trial period and subsequent follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Cognitive impairment caused by other etiologies. 2.Patients with a history of severe mental illness. 3.Patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency. 4.Patients who have taken medications affecting cognitive function (e.g., anticholinergics, benzodiazepines, sedative-hypnotics) within the past week. 5.Patients with cognitive impairment, depression, anxiety disorders, or other mental disorders. 6.Patients who experience choking when drinking water (Kubota Water Swallowing Test score =3). 7.Patients who are currently taking other Chinese herbal medicines. 8.Women who are planning to become pregnant, refuse to use contraception, or are currently breastfeeding. 9.Patients who plan to go abroad within the next two months. 10.Patients who are currently enrolled in other research studies.
