Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.General anesthesia is required for elective surgeries 2. Age 8 to 15 years old 3. ASA classification I to II 4. Before the operation, solid fatty foods should be avoided for more than 8 hours, solid starchy foods for more than 6 hours, and clear beverages for more than 2 hours 5. A score of 13 or above on the depression self-rating scale for children (DSRSC) 6. The expected postoperative hospital stay is 5 days or more

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those with mental disorders or other mental illnesses 2. History of epilepsy and hyperthyroidism 3. History of hypertension and cerebrovascular accidents 4. Increased intracranial pressure or intracranial tumors 5. Glaucoma 6. Severe cardiovascular diseases 7. Communication disorders (such as autism) 8. Surgery duration less than 1 hour 9. Return to ICU after surgery
