Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women within 12 weeks of gestational age; 2. Aged 18 to 40 years; 3. No neuropsychiatric disorders, adequate understanding and expression ability; 4. Lived in Huaibei city more than half a year recently, and planned to give birth in Maternal and Child Hospital of Huaibei city; 5. The participants were healthy single pregnant women.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who did not take folic acid supplements in early pregnancy; 2. Pregnant women with diabetes, hypertension, thyroid dysfunction or other diseases before pregnancy; 3. Participants taking drugs known to affect folate metabolism; 4. Pregnant women with liver and kidney diseases.
