Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18 years or older 2. Patients scheduled by their treating physician to undergo total thyroidectomy 3. Patients who are able to read and write Thai 4. Patients who provide written informed consent to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe psychiatric disorders 2. Patients with severe comorbid conditions that may significantly affect quality of life, such as advanced-stage malignancy or end-stage renal disease (Stage 5 chronic kidney disease) 3. Patients with a history of previous thyroid surgery 4. Patients who are unable to complete the 1-year follow-up 5. Patients with a history of prior neck treatment, including neck surgery or neck radiotherapy 6. Patients diagnosed with thyroid cancer
