Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: -Plan for open thyroidectomy (lobectomy/total) with Kocher incision -Able to come for follow up up to 6 months
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: -History of keloid/hypertrophic scar at any part of the body -Undergone open thyroidectomy (lobectomy/total) with Lateral neck incision -History of neck surgery or have scar across the neck area -Underlying diseases that interfere with healing process eg. uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, immunocompromised host, autoimmune disease -History of allergy to triamcinolone acetonide -Preoperatively or Intraoperatively have contaminated wound or active infection at neck area -Unable to follow up up to 6 months
