Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Experimental Group (Depressed Patients) 1. Male or female patients with depression aged 18 to 65 years 2. Patients diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) or Persistent Depressive Disorder (PDD) by a psychiatrist according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision (DSM-5-TR) 3. Patients who voluntarily agree to participate in the study and provide written informed consent 4. Patients who can read, listen, and write in the Thai language Control Group (Healthy Volunteers) 1. Male or female patients with depression aged 18 to 65 years 2. Volunteers without severe stress, as determined by the Suanprung Stress Test-20 (SPST-20) 3. Volunteers who voluntarily agree to participate in the study 4. Volunteers who can read, listen, and write in the Thai language
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Experimental Group (Depressed Patients) 1. Patients with severe depression who are unable to provide informed consent 2. Patients with a history of substance abuse (e.g., methamphetamine, ecstasy, cannabis, heroin, opium, morphine, cocaine, kratom, or inhalants) within the past 6 months 3. Patients with a history of chronic alcoholism (Alcohol Use Disorder) 4. Patients who are currently pregnant 5. Patients who are unwilling to provide information Control Group (Healthy Volunteers) 1. Volunteers with stress or anxiety, as determined by the Suanprung Stress Test-20 (SPST-20), reaching a severe level 2. Volunteers with a history of substance abuse (e.g., methamphetamine, ecstasy, cannabis, heroin, opium, morphine, cocaine, kratom, or inhalants) within the past 6 months 3. Volunteers with a history of chronic alcoholism (Alcohol Use Disorder) 4. Volunteers who are currently pregnant 5. Volunteers who are unwilling to provide information
