Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Undergoing uncomplicated cataract surgery by phacoemulsification with implantation of a foldable intraocular lens and no intraoperative complications. 2. Able to access communication devices or technologies required for telemedicine follow up, including video calls or online communication systems. 3. Able to communicate adequately in Thai or English. 4. Willing and able to provide written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of intraoperative or postoperative complications requiring close clinical follow up, including posterior capsule rupture, vitreous loss, or acute postoperative endophthalmitis. 2. Ocular or systemic diseases that may significantly affect visual outcomes or require specialized follow up care, including advanced glaucoma, severe diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, or monocular status. 3. Medical conditions associated with increased risk of postoperative complications or limitations in telemedicine use, including uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, immunodeficiency, immunosuppressive therapy, unstable cardiovascular disease, advanced chronic respiratory disease, end stage renal disease, severe chronic liver disease, frailty, or unstable psychiatric illness. 4. Communication limitations, including physician diagnosed dementia or significant hearing or speech impairment affecting communication with healthcare providers.
