Interventions

Older patients aged 65 years or older who undergo surgery for fragility hip fracture and are enrolled before hospital discharge. Participants will receive standard postoperative care and rehabilitatio

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Fragility hip fracture including femoral neck fracture or pertrochanteric fracture 2. Planned surgical treatment and participation in ERAS protocol 3. Pre-fracture independent ambulation with or without gait aid for at least 10 meters or pre-fracture mFAC 6 or higher 4. Weight bearing allowed after surgery 5. Able to communicate in Thai

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Multiple fractures 2. Malignancy-related pathological fracture 3. Recent major lower extremity injury affecting mobility or weight bearing within 3 to 6 months 4. Subsequent condition affecting ambulation recovery such as stroke 5. Delay to surgery more than 72 hours 6. Length of hospital stay more than 2 weeks 7. Severe cognitive impairment defined as TMSE less than 13
