Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. aged 1 to 18 years 2. had been diagnosed with asthma 3. were being treated with inhaled corticosteroid -based therapy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. had used a Written Asthma Action Plan (WAAP) prior to the study
