18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Adults > 18 yrs 2 Moderate iron deficiency anemia. 3 Planned to receive intravenous ferric carboxymaltose. 4 Able to provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. CKD stage 4 or 5. 2. Baseline hypophosphatemia. 3. Pregnancy or lactation. 4. Previous IV iron within 3 months. 5. Disorders affecting phosphate metabolism. 6. Current phosphate supplementation. 7. Severe liver disease. 8. Known hypersensitivity to ferric carboxymaltose.
