Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Unilateral knee OA diagnosed according to the American College of Rheumatology criteria and radiographic Kellgren-Lawrence (KL) grades 1 or 2 and no active symptoms in the contralateral knee 2.pain aggravated by walking, knee range of motion greater than 90 degrees 3.coronal plane deformity less than 10 degrees 4.no skin lesion or infection around the affected knee 5.no planned use of pain medication during the evaluation period.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.prior IA-HA treatment within 1 year 2.allergy to HA or related compounds 3.history of knee trauma 4.metabolic or malignant disease 5.use of analgesics or nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) within 2 weeks before enrollment.
