50 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.) Patients aged between 50 and 75 years. 2.) Patients scheduled for elective total knee arthroplasty surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.) History of ischemic heart disease. 2.) Presence of congestive heart failure. 3.) Severe hepatic impairment. 4.) Renal failure requiring dialysis.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Postoperative Troponin Levels Preoperative, Postoperative 24th hour Laboratory blood analysis of cardiac troponin levels to assess myocardial injury.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Hemoglobin (Hb) and Hematocrit (Htc) Levels Preoperative and Postoperative 24th hour. Laboratory complete blood count (CBC) analysis.,Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) and Creatinine Levels Preoperative and Postoperative 24th hour. Laboratory serum biochemical analysis.
