Participants will receive conventional conservative management for small upper urinary tract stones, including adequate hydration, dietary advice, and standard clinical follow up according to routine

18 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria 1. Ages 18 years old, both sexes 2. Upper urinary tract stones (any stone type) 3. Stone size 1 cm (10 mm, the largest diameter) 4. Having size of stone confirmed by non-contrast computed tomography (CT) scan imaging 5. Either symptomatic or asymptomatic stones

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria 1. Pregnant patients 2. Any malignancies 3. Genetic stone disease (e.g., cystine stones, xanthinuria) 4. Renal anatomic anomalies (e.g., horseshoe kidney, diverticulum kidney), Medullary sponge kidney, Renal transplant 5.Unable to collect 24-h urine samples
