Older adults aged 60 years and older with physician-diagnosed congestive heart failure for at least 6 months who receive treatment at the medical outpatient clinic, Chonburi Hospital.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The sample in this study consists of male and female individuals aged 60 years and older with congestive heart failure who receive treatment at the medical outpatient clinic, Outpatient Nursing Department, Chonburi Hospital. The inclusion criteria are as follows: 1. Able to communicate, read, and understand Thai. 2. Able to perform activities of daily living independently, as assessed by the Barthel ADL Index of the Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health (2014), with a score of 12 or higher. 3. Fully conscious and having normal cognitive function, screened using the Short Portable Mental Status Questionnaire (SPMSQ), developed by Pfeiffer (1975), version of the Chiang Mai Provincial Public Health Office (2018). The questionnaire consists of 10 items, and participants must have a score of 8 or higher. 4. Willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: having exacerbated symptoms of congestive heart failure during data collection.
