Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Older adults aged 60 years and over 2. Undergoing major orthopaedic surgery which are limited to the following three procedures Total Knee Arthroplasty (Knee replacement), Total Hip Arthroplasty (Hip replacement) and Major Spine Surgery (Lumbar/spinal fusion or repair surgery) 3. Able to communicate and provide informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Any minor orthopedic procedures (e.g., closed reduction, arthroscopic debridement, trigger finger release, minor hardware removal). Any emergency or non-elective orthopedic surgeries (e.g., acute open fractures from severe trauma). 2. Patients with severe complications after surgery such as septic shock, deep vein thrombosis/pulmonary embolism (DVT/PE), acute kidney injury, or death. 3. Patients with cognitive impairment preventing reliable communication 4. Patients unwilling to participate
