Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18-65 years with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status III and body mass index (BMI) > 40 kg/m2, scheduled for laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients undergoing bariatric procedures other than sleeve gastrectomy; age < 18 years; preoperative arrhythmias; left ventricular ejection fraction < 30%; hepatic or renal dysfunction; history of severe PONV or motion sickness; current active smoking; or ASA physical status IV.
