18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with liver cirrhosis, with or without a history of hepatic encephalopathy, 2. Outpatient status, 3. Written informed consent obtained

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with other comorbidities that affect serum zinc levels, such as chronic kidney disease or acute renal failure 2. Patients taking zinc-containing dietary supplements
