Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Male and female patients aged 60 years and older 2. Undergoing emergency open abdominal surgery involving organs such as the stomach, liver, pancreas, spleen, small intestine, or large intestine 3. Received general anesthesia during surgery 4. Able to communicate effectively in Thai 5. Willing to participate in the study voluntarily and provide informed consent 6. Having a caregiver during hospitalization and surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of previous open abdominal surgery 2. Medical contraindications or complications that limit physical activity, including heart failure class III to IV, chronic kidney disease stage IV to V, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease stage III to IV
