Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Fresh-frozen human cadaveric lower extremities (legs and ankles). 2.Intact Achilles tendon and calcaneus without visible gross pathology, degeneration, or deformities.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Specimens with macroscopic evidence of a previous Achilles tendon rupture or prior surgical interventions around the foot and ankle. 2.Specimens with gross structural deformities, severe osteoarthritis of the ankle joint, or advanced tissue decay/degeneration that would compromise biomechanical testing. 3.Evidence of poor bone quality, fractures, or macroscopic damage to the calcaneus that would preclude secure footprint suture anchor placement.
