13 Years to 20 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients in permanent dentition stage 2 Moderate to difficult dental crowding or dentoalveolar protrusion requiring orthodontic treatment 3 An overjet greater than 5mm 4 Indication for treatment with clear aligners using nonextraction approach 5 Class I or mild to moderate Class II malocclusion suitable for aligner therapy 5 No previous orthodontic treatment 6 Good oral hygiene and periodontal health 7 Willingness to comply with aligner wear protocol and study requirements 8 Ability to attend regular follow-up visits

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Mixed dentition or incomplete permanent dentition 2 Severe skeletal discrepancies requiring orthognathic surgery 3 Craniofacial syndromes or congenital anomalies (e.g., cleft lip and palate) 4 Severe periodontal disease or poor oral hygiene Active temporomandibular joint disorders Extensive restorations or prosthetic work affecting tooth movement Impacted teeth (excluding third molars) that interfere with treatment planning Previous orthodontic treatment Patients requiring auxiliary appliances beyond clear aligners (e.g., headgear, fixed functional appliances) Poor compliance with aligner wear or inability to follow study protocol Systemic conditions affecting bone metabolism or tooth movement

MeasureTime frame
Treatment effectiveness of orthodontic therapy Baseline and post treatment. Assessed by Peer Assessment Rating index before and after treatment, comparing Invisalign and Angelalign with fixed braces as the gold standard.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Skeletal and dental changes, Root resorption, Alveolar bone changes, Airway changes, Temporomandibular joint changes Baseline, mid treatment at 6 months and end of treatment Linear and angular tooth displacement in mm and degrees measured by x-ray and 3D digital model superimposition.
