Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 18 to 40 years who represent physically active adults . 2. Tegner Activity Score of 7 or higher indicating a high level of physical activity assessed based on the participants pre injury pre operative activity level using a previously reported standard self administered questionnaire . 3. During the 16 weeks after primary ACLR corresponding to the RTS phase . 4. Fulfilment of the standard clinical criteria for progression into the return to sport phase of rehabilitation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Multi-ligament knee injuries including combined anterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament injuries. 2.Grade III medial collateral ligament injury. 3. Grade III lateral collateral ligament injury. 4.Revision anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. 5.Meniscal conditions contraindicating standard return-to-sport rehabilitation, including bucket-handle tears, radial or root tears, and complex meniscal tears. 6. Severe contralateral knee injury within the past 12 months. 7. Neurological, cardiovascular, or metabolic disorders contraindicating high-intensity exercise. 8.Pregnancy.
