Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Healthy female half marathon runners, 2.Aged between 25 and 35 years, 3.Experienced in participating in at least 2 half marathon races per year, 4.Continuous running training for at least 12 months, 5.Regular running training between 3 and 15 hours per week, 6.Normal and regular menstrual cycles, 7.Body Mass Index within normal range, 8.Maximal oxygen consumption or VO2max between 40 and 45 milliliters per kilogram per minute, 9.Willingness to follow experimental protocols and nutritional requirements throughout the study period
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Participants with a history of serious underlying medical conditions such as heart disease, hypertension, or respiratory diseases, 2.Participants with current musculoskeletal injuries that could interfere with treadmill running, 3.Participants with a known allergy to legumes, specifically chickpeas or soybeans, 4.Participants diagnosed with Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase or G6PD deficiency, 5.Participants who smoke or regularly consume alcoholic beverages, 6.Participants with irregular menstrual cycles or who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, 7.Participants with severe gastrointestinal symptoms when consuming legume products, 8.Participants taking medications or supplements that affect metabolism or heart rate
