Conditions

Patients over the age of 60 who are scheduled for a hepatectomy. Preoperative Exercise Hepatectomy Elderly

Interventions

Patients participating in a prehabilitation program before undergoing a hepatectomy will attend training classes focused on an exercise regimen. This program lasts for more than two weeks and includes
s guidance.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 60 years old 2. Patient plan for hepatectomy including open surgery and minimal invasive surgery 3. ASA classification <= 3

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient with high bleeding risk, including Platelet <= 100,000 or INR >= 1.5 2. Patient with high risk co-morbidity for exercise, including heart disease or asthma 3. Patient with impaired cognitive function 4. Patient with severe osteoporosis or previous fracture

Short physical Performance Battery(SPPB) preop, POD3, POD5, POD7, POD30 It evaluates balance, gait speed, and lower extremity strength (chair stands) to predict functional decline, risk of falls, and disability.
