Adult patients age 18 years or older diagnosed with acute cholecystitis who underwent surgeon-performed bedside percutaneous cholecystostomy during the study period. This is a retrospctive observation

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult aged 18 years or older diagnosed with acute cholecystitis 2. Patients with high surgical risk factors such as advanced age, multiple comorbidities, or severe infections. 3. Patients who underwent surgeon-performd bedsidepercutaneous cholecystostomy during the study period

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who underwent percutaneous cholecystostomy not performed at bedside. 2. Patients whose procedure was performed by another surgeon or interventional radiologist. 3. Patients with uncorrected coagulopathy, such as INR greater than 1.5 or Platelet count less than 50,000 per mm3 4. Patients with hemodynamic instability that precluded safe bedside procedure. 5. Patients with anatomical limitations or lack of a safe window for puncture under ultrasound guidance.
