Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Stable preterm neonates (BW less than 1800 g) who admitted to neonatal intensive care unit or step down ward, and ready to discharge (physiologic stability as well as sufficient weight gain, adequate maintenance of normal body temperature fully clothed in an open bed with normal ambient temperature neither radiant warmer nor incubator at least 3-5 days) 2. Preterm and full-term infants who were followed up in OPD with routine blood sampling (e.g. complete blood count for anemic screening) 6-12 months of PNA
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Congenital infections 2. Malformations, syndromes, or genetic defects 3. Sick infants during DXA procedure 4. Cardiopulmonary instability 5. Oxygen supplement 6. History of major surgery (e.g., neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery, gastrointestinal surgery) 7. Neonates need long term medication (more than 1 month), except minerals and vitamins. 8. Parents decision not to participate in the study 9. Birth weight (at birth) or body weight (at 6-12 months) below the 3-95 percentile of gestational age or corrected age, respectively. 10. Congenital or postnatal bone fracture 11. Neonates who have never undergone a DEXA procedure.
