Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Mechanical forces on the toenail (peak force) Single session under multiple conditions (sitting, standing, and walking) Measured using a custom device with force sensing resistors (FSRs) attached to the toenail, recording forces on multiple nail aspects during sitting, standing, and walking | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Mechanical forces on the toenail (pressure distribution / condition comparison) Single session under multiple conditions (sitting, standing, and walking) Measured using a custom device with force sensing resistors (FSRs) attached to the toenail, recording forces on multiple nail aspects during sitting, standing, and walking | — |
