Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Adults of any sex aged 25 to 60 years. 2.Individuals with shoulder pain and clinically diagnosed upper back muscle pain related to office syndrome by a Thai traditional medicine practitioner, with a pain intensity score of four or higher. 3.Individuals in generally good health without underlying diseases that may affect the use of Makhaen extract. 4.Individuals not currently using medications or herbal products with muscle relaxant or anti inflammatory effects. 5.Individuals who voluntarily agree to participate in the study and provide written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals with a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to herbal plant extracts, particularly Makhaen, or to any components of the nanoemulsion spray formulation. 2.Individuals with underlying diseases that may affect treatment response, such as chronic skin diseases or severe musculoskeletal disorders. 3.Individuals currently using analgesic medications, muscle relaxants, or other herbal products that may interfere with the evaluation of study outcomes. 4.Individuals who have used nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs or steroid medications, either topical or oral, within one week prior to study participation. 5.Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals. Individuals unable to cooperate with the study procedures or unable to participate in outcome assessments according to the scheduled timeline. 6.Individuals who do not agree to provide written informed consent for participation in the study.
