Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed with a first-time stroke (Ischemic or Hemorrhagic). 2.Age >= 18 years. 3.Currently in the stroke rehabilitation phase (within 1-6 months post-stroke onset). 4.Good level of consciousness, able to communicate and understand Thai sufficiently to answer the questionnaire (or has a primary caregiver able to provide partial behavioral data). 5.Patient and/or caregiver acknowledge the study information and provide signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.History of being diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) or other psychiatric illnesses prior to the current stroke. 2.History of receiving antidepressants or other psychiatric medications that may affect mood assessment. 3.Severe dementia or severe language/communication deficits (aphasia) that prevent assessment using the PHQ-9 questionnaire. 4.End-of-life patients or those receiving palliative care. 5.Unstable severe medical conditions (e.g., severe infection, end-stage heart failure).
