Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-50 years 2.Presenting with abnormal vaginal discharge 3.Being diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis using Amsel criteria 4.Being non-pregnant

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergy to metronidazole, probiotics 2.Received antibiotics in two weeks prior to enrolment
