Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 years or older 2. Diagnosed with decompensated heart failure 3. Meets the Framingham criteria for the diagnosis of heart failure 4. Received injectable diuretics at the time of hospital admission
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Loss of consciousness before hospital arrival with a diagnosis of hypovolemic shock 2. Diagnosed with severe diabetes mellitus 3. Diagnosed with diabetes insipidus 4. Receiving hemodialysis 5. Died before discharge during the current admission 6. Diagnosed with Sjogren syndrome
