Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age greater than or equal 18 years 2. Undergoing elective or urgency aortic surgery (aneurysm or dissection) requiring CPB 3. Urgent (or urgency) surgery is an operation that must be performed soon, but not necessarily immediately. Delaying beyond a few hours may lead to patient deterioration, increased morbidity, or progression of disease. 4. Provision of informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Preexisting ocular pathology (e.g., glaucoma, optic neuritis) 2. Known intracranial disease affecting ONSD 3. Inadequate ultrasound window 4. Emergency surgery with hemodynamic instabilities 5. Refusal to participate
