Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with cataract and scheduled for intraocular lens implantation at Ruamjaiphak 2 Special Ward, Phra Pok Klao Hospital, Chanthaburi Province. 2. Aged 60 years and above. 3. Able to communicate in Thai. 4. Willing to participate and provide informed consent. 5. Registered nurses working at Ruamjaiphak 2 Special Ward, Phra Pok Klao Hospital. 6. Nurses who have experience in providing care for cataract patients undergoing intraocular lens implantation. 7. Nurses who are willing to participate in the study and provide informed consent. Note: Nurses have no specific age restriction but must be adults (aged 20 years or above). Patients are aged 60 years and above.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with postoperative complications or communication difficulties. 2. Patients whose surgery was postponed or cancelled. 3. Non-age-related cataract (e.g., traumatic cataract). 4. Patients with other eye diseases such as glaucoma or lacrimal duct obstruction. 5. Patients with systemic infection at admission. 6. Nurses who are on long-term leave or not directly involved in cataract patient care. 7. Nurses who refuse to participate in the study.
