Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult aged 15 to 35 years. 2. Diagnosis of borderline personality disorder (BPD) based on DSM-5 criteria, confirmed using the MSI-BPD scale. 3. Express a willingness to commit to the full duration of the assigned therapeutic protocol. 4. Furthermore, participants must be medically stable, not currently experiencing acute psychotic symptoms. 5. Participants who possess sufficient cognitive capacity to engage in group based manualized treatment. 6. Able to provide informed consent for participation in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants with other comorbidities such as active substance use disorders, psychotic disorders, or immediate risk of suicidality requiring inpatient care were also excluded 2. Acute suicidal ideation necessitating immediate hospitalization, or significant cognitive impairment precluding participation in group therapy were excluded. 3. Those with a primary diagnosis of intellectual disability were also be deemed ineligible to participate. 4. Those who had received DBT or STEPPS within the last 12 months. 5. Similarly, individuals currently engaged in another structured psychotherapy for BPD
