Participants in the control group will not receive any specific exercise intervention and will be instructed to maintain their usual daily activities throughout the study. They will also be asked to c

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Healthy adults 2 Physically inactive 3 Aged 25-50 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Engage in any structured exercise 2 Are current smokers 3 Have a known history of cardiovascular diseases, stroke, diabetes or chronic kidney disease 4 Uncontrolled hypertension (BP >= 140/90 mm Hg) with or without treatment 5 Body mass index >= 35.0 kg/m2 6 Have any condition or injuries that would affect any physical activity 7 Are postmenopausal 8 Are taking medications known to affect lipid or glucose metabolism or heart rate 9 Cannot perform jumping jacks after following the instructions 10 For premenopausal women, those using hormonal contraceptives will be required to maintain the same contraceptive method throughout the study period.
