Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with cataract and pseudoexfoliation syndrome 2. Patients scheduled for phacoemulsification cataract surgery 3. Ability to provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous intraocular surgery 2. Traumatic or complicated cataract 3. Significant zonular weakness or lens subluxation 4. Posterior capsule rupture during surgery Ocular diseases affecting visual acuity (e.g., advanced glaucoma, macular disease) Incomplete clinical data or loss to follow-up

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Postoperative refractive outcome 1 month after surgery Postoperative spherical equivalent refraction measured using autorefractometry and manifest refraction.

Anterior chamber depth 1 month after surgery Anterior chamber depth measured using optical biometry or anterior segment imaging.
