Adult patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who are required to adhere to anti-tuberculosis medication by Gamified Reality Video Observed Therapy(GRVOTS) or Direct Observed Treatment Short-course (DOTS TB diary). Interventions

If the adult TB patient is randomised into GRVOTS arm, he will be asked to download GRVOTS mobile health app on smartphone. Tutorial on how to operate GRVOTS will be given to the trained member of TB

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Newly diagnosed PTB with first line anti-TB medication 2. Newly diagnosed PTB sputum AFB positive 3. Able to speak Malay and English 4. Willing and able to provide informed consent 5. Health clinics with minimum 10 TB cases

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with drug-resistance TB 2. Patients with intolerance to anti-TB medication first two weeks of treatment (Garfein & Doshi, 2019) 3. Patients with arthritis/ vision impairment that hinders the usage of smartphone. 4. Health clinics with no TB cases
