Interventions

Participants will receive inhalation of lavender essential oil (3 to 5 drops on a cotton pad) for 20 minutes prior to intravitreal injection.,Participants will receive placebo inhalation using normal
Lavender aromatherapy,Placebo inhalation (normal saline)

21 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 21 to 75 years 2. Patients who underwent their first intravitreal anti-VEGF injection 3. Patients were diagnosed with retinal diseases requiring intravitreal injection 4. Patients are able to provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a history of previous intravitreal injection 2. Patients with a history of allergy to lavender or essential oils 3. Patients with a history of cognitive impairment or inability to complete questionnaires 4. Patients with a history of severe psychiatric disorders affecting anxiety assessment 5. Patients who receiving sedative or anxiolytic medications prior to the procedure
