This group will receive a single 60 minute comprehensive fall prevention education session. The content includes six major themes: why falls must be prevented, how to prevent falls, basic fall prevent

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Community-dwelling older adults aged 65 years or older. 2. Ability to read Chinese. 3. Ability to walk independently (the use of assistive devices is permitted). 4. A Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score greater than 24.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Presence of unstable cardiovascular disease, neurological disorders, or metabolic diseases. 2. History of major surgery or acute illness within the past 3 months. 3. Severe mental or cognitive impairment that prevents the completion of the required tests.

Knowledge, Attitudes, Behaviors questionnaire Pre test and after 3 months follow up Knowledge is assessed by the total number of correct answers on a structured questionnaire. Attitudes are measured using a Likert scale, and preventive behaviors are evaluated via a checklist.

Secondary

Number of falls Pre test and after 3 months follow up Participants will record and report the total number of falls that occur during the study period.,Timed Up and Go (TUG) Test Pre test and after 3 months follow up Participants rise from a chair, walk 3 meters at a comfortable pace, return, and sit down. The time taken is recorded in seconds. The test is performed three times, and the average score is used.,Taiwan Falls Awareness Scale Pre test and after 3 months follow up A 16-item scale assessing fall-related concern across four domains. Each item is scored from 1 to 4, with a total score of 64. Higher scores indicate a higher level of concern regarding falls.
