18 Years to 65 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosis of unilateral acute peripheral facial palsy based on established neurological criteria; 2.Onset of symptoms within 7 days; 3.Baseline Sunnybrook Facial Grading System score not exceeding 60 (moderate to severe dysfunction); 4.Able to complete all assessments.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Central or secondary facial paralysis (e.g., stroke, trauma, tumor); 2.Severe comorbidities (cardiovascular, hepatic, renal diseases); 3.Patients with psychiatric disorders or cognitive impairment; 4.Pregnancy or lactation; 5.Contraindications to acupuncture (bleeding disorders, needle phobia) or ultrasonic therapy (local skin infection, metal implants at site); 6.Facial paralysis previously treated with other methods or currently under treatment.
