18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age more than 18 years 2. On vaginal pessary to treat pelvic organ prolapse (POP) more than 1 week 3. Pessary-induced vaginal ulcer or abrasion 4. No vaginal estrogen in the last more than 4 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. Sucralfate allergy, aluminum compound allergy, sulfate compound allergy 3. Suspected ulcer from malignancy 4. Clinically evident sexual transmitted diseases 5. Immunocompromised ex. Active SLE, HIV CD4 < 200, poor control DM 6. Advanced kidney disease 7. Denied to follow up

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Healing of pessary induced vaginal ulcers 2 weeks and 4 weeks Ulcer margin identification and imaging, calculate the number of pixels within the delineated ulcer area and convert this value into square centimeters using a fixed ratio

Adverse events 2 weeks and 4 weeks patient-reported questionnaire
