Conditions

Interventions

Participants will receive 2 to 3 puffs of 4 percent lignocaine spray via the bronchoscope for cough suppression during bronchoscopy. The spray will be applied to the oropharynx before the procedure. A

18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18 years and above. 2. Patients scheduled for elective flexible bronchoscopy. 3. Patients who provide written informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to lignocaine. 2. Patients with severe hypoxia requiring urgent bronchoscopy. Patients with unstable hemodynamic status. 3. Patients with severe cardiac arrhythmias. 4. Pregnant women. 5. Patients who are unable to provide informed consent. 6. Patients above 60 years of age.
