Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 60 years and older Diagnosed with acute appendicitis Underwent appendectomy at HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center Availability of preoperative complete blood count data Availability of operative findings or pathological confirmation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with underlying conditions affecting inflammatory markers such as cardiovascular disease diabetes mellitus hematologic disease or autoimmune disease Patients receiving non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs prior to admission Incomplete medical records or missing operative or pathological data
