Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The Healthy group 1. Aged 20 to 50 years 2. Individuals with or without a history of low back pain but without symptoms in the past 6 months 3. Matched with other groups based on sex, age 5 years, and body mass index 2 kg per m2 Chronic low back pain without lumbar instability group 1. Aged 20 to 50 years 2. Presence of chronic low back pain in the region between the costal margin and the gluteal fold for at least 3 months 3. With or without radiating leg pain 4. Moderate pain intensity Numerical Rating Scale score of 3 to7 scales 5. Score less than 7 out of 13 on the lumbar instability screening tool Chronic low back pain with lumbar instability group 1. Aged 20 to 50 years 2. Presence of chronic low back pain in the region between the costal margin and the gluteal fold for at least 3 months 3. With or without radiating leg pain 4. Moderate pain intensity Numerical Rating Scale score of 3 to 7 scales 5. Score less than 7 out of 13 on the lumbar instability screening tool

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The Healthy group 1. History of spinal surgery 2. Presence of spinal or joint deformities 3. Neurological disorders 4. Postural control impairments due to medication, alcohol consumption, visual problems, or vestibular disorders 5. Use of muscle relaxants or nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) within 48 hours prior to assessment 6. History of lower limb injury affecting balance within the past 6 months 7. Body mass index less than 30 kg per m2 8. Pregnancy 9. Inner ear imbalance 10. Cardiovascular disease 11. Hypotension 12. Sleep duration less than 6 hours prior to testing 13. No food intake within 1 to 3 hours before testing Chronic low back pain without lumbar instability group 1. Diagnosis of specific low back pain 2. History of spinal surgery 3.
