Critically ill adult patients, aged 18 years and older, who are admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.

18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Critically ill patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. 2. Modified Sequential Organ Failure Assessment score of 8 or less at the time of admission. 3. No clinical diagnosis of Acute Kidney Injury upon admission to the Intensive Care Unit.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of prior Intensive Care Unit readmission. 2. Diagnosis of malignant kidney disease. 3. Diagnosis of chronic kidney failure 4. Currently receiving routine hemodialysis. 5. Death within the first 24 hours of Intensive Care Unit therapy. 6. Inability to complete the 7 day follow up. 7. Withdrawal of consent
