Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 65 years or older who require emergency intubation while admitted to the ED 2. Induction before intubation with etomidate (based on treating physician's judgement) 3. Initial SBP 100 mmHg or higher

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergic to etomidate 2. Cardiac arrest before intubation 3. Transfer to another hospital 4.Trauma 5. History of corticosteroid use 6. Refusal/Decline to participate in the research
