Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult subjects aged 25-50 years 2. Experiencing central obesity characterized by a waist circumference >=90 cm in men or >=80 cm in women
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Currently experiencing acute infection/inflammation 2. History of chronic infectious diseases (e.g., malaria, thalassemia) 3. Cardiovascular disease, cancer, chronic kidney failure 4. Currently taking uric acid-lowering medication 5. Currently taking lipid-lowering medication 6. Currently taking antioxidant supplements/vitamins
